As the Connecticut site lead for a company-wide women’s health supply drive my responsibilities included: - recruiting volunteers and scheduling their shifts- coordinating with our communications team on marketing items-maintaining and documenting inventory of our donations-scheduling and coordinating donation drop-off to two local sheltersThis drive lasted five days, involved over 100 volunteers, and helped raise nearly 1,500items.

I thought of the idea for Pa’lante during my sophomore year when I was workingcommencement weekend and noticed that it was difficult for non-English speaking families to enjoy anyof the programming. The following fall, I presented a proposal for a Spanish-language graduationceremony to the school administration. I went around campus, speaking to different student groups and gathering interest. I gathered a planning committee.
