Always smiling and carrying a positive aura, my role as a hostess at Browns Socialhouse includes greeting, seating, taking reservations, and bussing/setting tables. I am the first impression of guests which has tremendously built my interpersonal and communication skills because I need to accommodate their preferences and the restaurant flow!

Independently identifying and working through problems while leading and organizing practice for small groups of swimmers aged 5-10, I have let my leadership role thrive. My responsibilities include leading small groups of swimmers through warm-ups, sets, and skill fundamentals, assessing and accommodating the lead coach, and attending training sessions. I have been able to confidently connect and interact with the young generation.

Leading a diversity of students around the lower mainland and preparing them for Canadian customs and the school system, I have created a welcoming environment and organized group activities. For the past two years I have been a student leader for the West Vancouver Schools international student exchange program. I interacted with students from grades 3 to 12 where I have built my leadership and public speaking skills and learned how to influence and motivate students positively.
