I supported R4R talent acquisition for Amazon's Global Media & Entertainment team.

In my position, I was promoted to manage a team of 11 full-time staff recruiters. I lead my team to work across all colleges in GA and TN in addition to all Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the Nation in order to recruit diverse leaders to enter the classroom by:-Setting team-wide vision and goals for recruitment strategy to cultivate and influence campus leaders to join Teach For America which in FY21 is currently resulting in my team being on track to exceed overall and people of color qualified candidate goals by at least 20%.-Cultivating a strong team culture that has led to consistently being in the top quartile for Gallup employee satisfaction.-Coaching and developing new direct reports in recruitment strategy which led to my team being one of the leaders in qualified candidate offer confirmations for FY20 and FY21.-Managing a multi-year grant to increase the number of Black educators from our Historically Black Colleges and Universities.-Utilizing Salesforce reports to analyze recruitment data in order to develop and improve team-wide strategy.-Mobilizing Corps Members, alumni and regional staff to assist with recruitment efforts.

In my position, I was promoted to manage a team of 3 full-time staff recruiters while also leading my own recruitment campaign. I led my team to work across schools in NC, SC, and FL in order to recruit diverse leaders to enter the classroom by:-Setting team-wide vision and goals for recruitment strategy to cultivate and influence campus leaders to join Teach For America which in FY19 resulted in being 116% and 133% to goal for overall and people of color qualified candidates respectively, both of which were the highest in the country.-Coaching and developing new direct report in recruitment strategy which led to them landing 109% and 132% to goal for overall and people of color qualified candidates respectively.-Developing and managing relationships with campus gate-keepers to invest them in the work and mission of Teach For America.-Directly and laterally managing seven campus interns across NC, SC and FL to promote brand awareness and the must-solve issue of educational inequity.-Utilizing Salesforce reports to analyze recruitment data in order to develop and improve cultivation strategy.-Planning and hosting recruitment events for target campus audiences to gain a deeper understanding of educational inequity.-Managing relationships with seven Teach For America regional teams to recruit prospects with ties to their respective communities.-Mobilizing Corps Members, alumni and regional staff to assist with recruitment efforts.

Worked with my team to recruit a diverse, high-quality corps of leaders to teach in high needs communities across the country. In my position, I managed a portfolio of 4 college campuses across NC and VA by: -Setting vision and goals for recruitment strategy in order to cultivate and influence campus leaders to join Teach For America which in FY16 resulted in being 123% to goal for competitive applications started.-Developing and managing relationships with campus gate-keepers to invest them in the work and mission of Teach For America.-Managing seven campus interns across NC and VA to promote brand awareness and the must-solve issue of educational inequity which led our team to surpass qualified candidate goals by an average of 22% for FY16.-Utilizing Salesforce reports to analyze recruitment data in order to develop and improve cultivation strategy.-Planning and hosting recruitment events for target campus audiences to gain a deeper understanding of educational inequity.-Managing relationships with four Teach For America regional teams to recruit prospects with ties to their respective communities.-Mobilizing Corps Members, alumni and regional staff to assist with recruitment efforts.

-Managed a database of professional and undergraduate constituents to conduct outreach which in 2014-2015 resulted in over 500 meetings for the Florida portfolio. -Utilized Salesforce reports to analyze recruitment data in order to develop and improve outreach and recruitment strategy. -Joined the committee to develop and facilitate diversity, equity and inclusion sessions for the Southern cohort.-In the Spring of 2015 led recruitment efforts for the University of South Florida. During my time as campus lead there was a 65% increase in total number of applications submitted that resulted in 83% of our qualified candidates being recruited during this time.

-Provided small group and one-on-one instruction to students in reading, mathematics and language arts.-Created reading curriculum to meet the needs of students receiving Special Education services-Worked closely with homeroom teachers to alter on grade level instruction to meet the needs of the student.-Worked primarily with students in grades 2nd-4th with diagnosis of intellectual disability, autism, specific learning disability and other health impairment, such as ADHD.-Developed Individualized Education Programs for students.

-Provided one-on-one services to child with autism. -Worked on life skills such as going out in public and making transactions, eating out, etc. -Attended occupational and speech therapy sessions. -Provided academic tutoring in reading, writing and math.
