Aware Program Manager/ Samhsa Project Director
CurrentAs the AWARE Program Manager at the Seminole Tribe of Florida, I am entrusted with overseeing the day-to-day operations and services provided under the SAMHSA Project AWARE grant. In this dynamic role, I am responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating initiatives that address mental health and substance abuse disorders within our community.My duties encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:• Managing and supervising all aspects of counseling, training, and community outreach efforts aimed at identifying and addressing warning signs of mental health and substance abuse disorders.• Implementing the goals and objectives of the AWARE Program, ensuring alignment with grant requirements and organizational priorities.• Serving as the primary liaison with the grantor agency (SAMHSA), responsible for reporting data, coordinating staff training and certification in YMHFA, and monitoring program progress.• Managing and supervising staff, including human resources functions and compliance with grant guidelines and requirements.• Implementing Standing Operation Policies and Procedures to maintain quality assurance, including file management of clinical records/documents and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.Through effective leadership and collaboration, I strive to ensure that the AWARE Program delivers impactful services that meet the needs of our community while adhering to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
