As a franchisor I created training programs, marketing strategies, vendor relationships, real estate development processes and other systems to support our franchisees. In addition I secured a development deal with Wal-Mart to open Digital Doc franchise stores within their Super Centers. OwnerDigital Doc Llc Sep 2010 - Oct 2013In 2010 I launched the first Digital Doc in Owensboro, KY. Digital Doc originally started as a battery company. After having several clients request a battery replacement within their iPhones and noticing many of these devices were broken, I realized there was a larger opportunity to pursue. After several months of planning and research, Digital Doc was born. I created relationships with vendors in China to supply our parts, designed the layout of our storefront, researched third-party Point of Sale systems and created marketing strategies to build market awareness. I developed relationships with school districts throughout the State of Kentucky to repair their devices as schools transitioned to a 1:1 program with their students in which each student was provided a laptop or tablet. I sold the first two Digital Doc stores shortly after Franchising the concept in order to focus on growth and supporting our franchisees.
