Spanning over 20 years, I have gained invaluable experience in various facets of engineering and construction having progressively worked my way through various positions. Beginning work as an apprentice on the shop-floor, then advancing to a draughtsman, then progressing to a project manager and currently working as a commercial contract manager. To complement my work experience, I have earned a NDip (Mech Eng), LLB and LLM.I have been involved in several large value complex projects. My focus is to provide comprehensive commercial and legal support from tender stage through to the project completion and if unavoidable alternate dispute resolution. This ranges from bespoke contracts to standard form building contracts such as NEC, FIDIC and GCC.I have a proven track record as a competent, self-motivated, dynamic employee, capable of working on my own initiative, learning new skills and the successful application of these skills in the workplace. I have a strong sense of ownership and sound legal and technical knowledge and capabilities having enjoyed working in the mining, petro-chemical and power generation industries.
