• Front Desk & Patient flow: appointment reminders, check patients in and out• Administer Vitals on patients• Setting up exam room (gynecological, physical exam, IV's etc)• Perform routine office procedures eg. files, faxes, schedules, appointment confirmations• Preparing referrals and requisitions (x-rays, lab requisitions, physical therapy etc)• Labs: processing blood work, lab requisitions• Use of Medical Terminology, CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures

• Gained communication skills interacting with diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds• Enroll and refer patients to available social service resources• Perform routine office procedures eg., files, faxes, schedules, appointment confirmations and meetings• Maintain an updated knowledge of social service providers and networks with local health and human service organizations

• Refer clients to community resources; including housing, utilities, food and other services• Enroll patients for State Health Insurance• Promote a range of services, including diabetes and nutrition education, cooking classes, and culturally tailored exercise programs• Work with high population of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, including immigrant, homeless and refugee

• Answering phones, answering emails, faxing, filing, using and composing computer documents as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc. • Working with Key orders, lock shops, floor plans• Printing photo Ids and setting up access cards

• 9 week pilot program• Aid families in making healthy shopping choices and healthy lifestyle changes • Suggest adjustment in familial diets and cooking habits while considering pre-existing health conditions and health risks such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol• Help families become more comfortable in navigating the grocery shopping process (e.g. arrangement of store, check-out procedure) • Develop shopping lists for families in accordance with a healthy eating model and consideration of their customary cultural diet and the American diet • Expand the support network available to families while also encouraging them to participate in G2L programming (e.g. more cooking classes, exercise activities)
