I am a very good team player and will help out in any way I can. I also can work well on my own and I have demonstrated this by being left responsible for the logging in of products into the Product Log, BatchTraveller and Sterility Databases. In the Product Log, I had to enter the Product Name, Resource Code, Batch Number and Date of Fill, I had to sign and date the Product Log once the product was logged in.Once, I had logged in the products, I had to organised them into the different areas for Particulate, Bioassay/Endotoxin and Sterility. I looked up the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and placed the number of products specified in the SOP into that area. If a product was missing from the SOP, I would tell my manager. I feel that this shows that I am very organised person and that I have good attention to detail, it also shows that I am a good communicator and I am not afraid to ask questions if anything is wrong.I have Cerebral Palsy which slightly affects my balance and hand-eye coordination. This has not stopped me in achievements my goals by obtaining a Master’s degree in Microbiology which is an area of science which I feel very passionate about. My condition also has not stopped me from obtaining a driving license and hope this shows my determination and willingness to succeed in everything that I do. In 2003, I was awarded 3 medals at the Special Olympics when it came to Ireland that year. 1 gold for Indoor Riding, 1 silver for Outdoor Riding and 1 gold for Stable Management. I feel that this is a huge achievement for myself and it gave me a lot of confidence and it showed that I can do anything if I put my mind to it.
