In the Information Services Department I monitor the Help Desk for trouble tickets and help provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone or by remote. Write instructions on new hardware and software to keep documentation updated. Train computer end users on new practices and software being deployed in the plant. Build mobile computer carts, wireless weight scales and communication boards and time clocks. Repair and rebuild end user PC’s and Laptops when needed. I administer our VOIP Shoretel phone system utilizing the Shoretel Director to add users and phones to the network. Add and remove users in Active Directory as well as change and reset passwords as needed. Purchased equipment and computers for the plant and projects. Work closely with vendors for contract help for running long cable runs and camera systems. I am familiar and have used the servers to deploy programs to client computers.

Help customers with over the counter sales with parts for their vehicles along with advice on accessories for their new or used vehicles. Work with the service department and body shop on estimates for vehicles that came in damaged or needing routine maintenance. Lastly keeping good inventory of the parts for stock and special orders for repair orders and over the counter customers to ensure the customer gets what they ordered and we have product on the shelf to help customers get back on the road quickly without delay or a wait.

Help the stock and restock of the sales floor and back warehouse to keep the merchandise moving out to the sales floor for customers to see. Tag and stock all overstock in specific locations using a RFID scanner to help ensure that the server is updated with the information needed to order new product to make sure we have the items that are low coming back via truck for customers.

Established and maintained stock records and other documents such as inventory, accounting and supply records along with MSDS sheets and hazmat material. Another primary function was to take care of key and vehicle security while maintain parts inventory and ordering for stock and for individual pieces of equipment while maintaining the functions of the warehouse. Created and submitted reports to higher chain of command to keep them informed of company equipment status.
