Meet Francis, an IT Team Lead for Spatial Products and Services (GIS) at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) of the Government of Canada. Francis leads a team of skilled GIS Analysts and Programmers providing GIS support and product development services for a wide range of DFO business clients.Prior to this role, Francis was a Systems Analyst II and Product Manager at the City of Vancouver. In this role, Francis lead a team that delivered a range of digital products to stakeholders across the city. He holds an Advanced Diploma in GIS and a Bachelor's degree in Geography, with a focus on digital solutions for sustainable development, urban geography, and transportation.Throughout his career, Francis has gained expertise in Agile project management and digital product development.
