Our group introduces new hardware and major OS revisions for Stratus VOS and Redhat Linux products. Technical and/or pseudo-management lead on the kernel PA-RISC 8500 and 8600 products, the initial IA-32 product (the 4th CPU architecture for VOS), and its subsequent generations, and the initial Common Code implementation. Added kernel support for Java and PCIe. VOS buglist manager for lists totaling 30 reports/month. Consultant and contributor to others (Windows, Linux, VOS, Customer Care, Common Code, others).

Technical and pseudo-management lead of multi-person projects: C2-level security compliance, Emergency Shutdown, PA-RISC 7100 quad CPU, crash dump redesign to reduce reboot time. Made technical, personnel, and schedule decisions for my projects. Maintained buglist manager role for OS kernel lists. Peritus liason during 3-year period they had VOS software maintenance.

Managed 5-7 developers responsible for enhancement and support of the OS kernel. Made personnel and schedule decisions for over 20 intra-group projects. Identified and capital and hardware resources (testbeds, analyzers, and the like). Moved OS from the Motorola 680x0 to the Intel I860 architecture. Managed defect lists totaling 20-25 reports/month.

Responsible for development of the VOS kernel to new Stratus CPUs based on Motorola 68020 and 68030 products. Project work included memory management, process control, and performance metering, among others. Received company award for multi-language support. Also provided maintenance support and analysis to the field.

Air Force Data Services Center (AFDSC), PentagonMy organization managed five Multics configurations for USAF clients. I performed primarily administrative, programming, security, performance and maintenance/troubleshooting tasks.
