Clients were equipment manufacturers for coil winding, electromagnetic components and electric motors located in the USA. Target markets were worldwide.

U.S. subsidiary of Axis S.p.A. of Florence, Italy, a maker of automatic coil and motor winding machines, robots and machine vision systems. Axis S.p.A. and its technology were later purchased by ATOP S.p.A. (www.atopwinding.com/en/). I established a 30,000 sq. ft. USA-based engineering and manufacturing facility, successfully transferred the Italian technology and manufactured and sold many Axis SpA machines into the American market. Customers were automotive second/third tier, appliance and power tool manufacturers.

Working with the existing management team, we obtained major contracts to supply controls for municipal incinerators and waster treatment facilities, and for robotic controls for Ontario Hydro nuclear generating units.
