Belt Foreman: Managing a crew of fifteen belt men to accomplish daily task and to assist the mining operation in maintaining six mainline belt lines to transport mined coal. As well as fire bossing different location of the mine.Section Foreman: Managing a crew of eight to twelve miners on the continuous mining section. These sections include different roof control plans for our E-side, F-side and 3 North Mains that I ensured are followed. This includes following coordinator daily task and inventorying supplies that are necessary for the mining operation: rib mesh, 6' bolts, 5' resin and multiple others. Ensuring that corrected footage mine is accounted for along with the mine map is updated correctly with any changes that occurred .Shift foreman:responsible for lining the shift up. Assigning foremen and firebosses to examination runs to allow for the next shift to enter the mine. Responsible for maintaining multiple sumps at our Pleasant Grove portal. Responsible for assisting in any issues that could arise during the shift.

Maintaining the main belt to transport the coal out of the mine. This job consist of hosing down and around the belt, changing rollers, shoveling and replacing water line. All the coal collects into a sump in which I operate a bucket arm used to scoop the coal and dump it on the belt. The area is free of trash and broken rollers. I help maintain a second belt line plus the transfers and scrappers along the belt line. This includes dusting and preventing coal accumulation.
