Innovation SL, an Entrepreneurship Support Organization (ESO) takes a leadership role in building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Sierra Leone needs to create high growth and value creating entrepreneurs. These are disruptions and job creators of the future. An entrepreneurial ecosystem is needed to support them.

The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) is a year-round platform of programs and initiatives aimed at creating one global entrepreneurial ecosystem. GEN helps people in 170 countries unleash their ideas and turn them into promising new ventures—creating jobs, accelerating innovation and strengthening economic stability around the world. GEN is a compass to help address these needs by identifying effective initiatives that positively impact whole societies, and interventions that target the most critical areas for entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world. GEN Sierra Leone is newly established to inspire and educate nascent entrepreneurs to advancing research and building a vibrant eco system in Sierra Leone. On the 24th of March 2015, I wrote "The Future of Sierra Leone....not the politicians, not the bureaucrats...but the innovators, the creative types, the youths, the entrepreneurs and the Mohammed Banguras! There are hundreds of thousands of innovative and smart Sierra Leoneans of all ages that need an eco system to support, energize, guide and mentor them.

In addition to normal Board functions, Francis Stevens George, will initiate and oversee the organization’s Europe-based operations from Norway. The primary activities will include resource mobilization and brand marketing in Europe with the aim of increasing CSDA visibility and partnerships in the areas of education and health in Africa.
