Have utilized my experience to increase the value of our services, providing insights and recommendations to enhance business/IT processes and sales efforts.• Partner on over 500 SOC reports on payroll, benefits, retirement services, IT infrastructure, domestic and international IaaS/Hosting, tax systems, global network management, credit card processing (issuer, merchant, loyalty), Cloud / SaaS applications, custody and trust operations, security lending, and global payment clearing/settlement.• Review partner for complex SOC engagements, primarily for financial service entities, responsible for ensuring quality and adherence to firm and professional standards.• Have enabled clients to achieve cost efficiency and reductions in their assurance programs through enhanced program management, creative audit solutions, and adoption of use of off shore resources. • Assist my clients enhance their control environment and risk management functions through control automation, risk profiling improvements, root cause analysis and deployment of enabling technologies. Also assisted clients with special assignments, such as due diligence projects, forensic investigations, and intrusion response.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCEBegan career in KPMG's Financial Services audit practice, serving commercial/savings banks, mutual funds and investment managers for 13 yrs. As part of KPMG's Department of Professional Practice, was responsible for research and supporting engagement teams related to accounting, auditing and SEC reporting issues.Am a KPMG national instructor teaching at KPMG’s Advisory University as well as local office events. As KPMG's National Product Champion was responsible for developing KPMG's methodology for evaluating IT risks and controls within KPMG's external audit methodology. Also have helped clients develop and deliver various risk and control based training, including COSO, Sarbanes Oxley/PCAOB, SSAE 16, and FDICIA.
