As a junior communications and political science major with work experience as a cashier, service-worker, and camp counselor, I possess a diverse and valuable skill set that would allow me to excel in the fields of marketing or public outreach/relations. My time working on a campaign has gave me experience cold calling citizens with a pitch to sell, as well as how to organize vast amounts of data Additionally, my work in the service industry as a cashier at PJ's Family Restaurant has helped me learn how to adapt and aid many different types of people effectively in a fast paced environment. Furthermore, my experience as a camp counselor has further enhanced my ability to lead, draft plans, and improvise. Additionally, my interests are sports, music, and hiking. I believe that playing sports throughout high school has taught me to work, lead, and form a bond with others extremely well, making me a valuable member to a team at any workplace. Through my coursework and extracurricular activities, I have gained an important understanding of consumer behavior that would make me a valuable member to a motivated team.
