I am a Certified Facilities Manager, Mechanical Engineer and Sustainability Professional with over 24 years of detailed and extensive experience of building operations, maintenance and management. Coming from a strong engineering background with proven building engineering, maintenance and management skills, I have been proactive in shaping the global environmental future by helping customers adopt sustainable practices in the reduction of building energy consumption.As a qualified Engineer, I have, over the years built proficient knowledge, skills and hands on expertise in building mechanical and electrical maintenance and services, with particular application of these M & E skills in heating, ventilation and air conditioning services, either in the reduction of energy or through the application of renewable systems in both domestic and commercial buildings. Added with a First and Masters' degree in Mechanical Engineering , I have varied technical certificates boiler and pressure systems and technical certifications in ventilation and air conditioning and as such I have been able to combine my engineering technical skills with managerial expertise. Also as a Facilities Manager, I have a diploma in Facilities Management. I am also a qualified Prince 2 Project Manager and an IOSH qualified Safety Manager. My FM expertise includes legislation and compliance, energy and environmental management, Project management, health and safety management and building energy management.Coupled with another degree in Energy Management, I have certification in building energy survey and I have proven eco certifications in Energy Assessment, , Building Survey, Retrofit assessments and Heat loss survey . I am an accredited Educator and Trainer who mentors, motivates, inspires and assists apprentices and workers to acquire the necessary skill and drive to be the best version of themselves. As a highly motivated individual myself , I have authored a book is titled: "Blooming Through Chaotic Times".
