Compassionate, soon-to-be public health graduate looking to specialize in environmental safety, disease interventions, and emergency preparedness. I competed with the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) in high school and college, where we partnered with the Tarrant County Medical Reserve Corps (TCMRC). We created partnership activities that improved our community's public health, served vulnerable populations, and supported non-emergency community events. I enjoyed hosting an emergency preparedness presentation for elders and participating in the Dallas Love Field plane exercise. My work ethic allows me to thrive in an individual or team-based setting, and I am always willing to learn new things. I plan to develop new skills and gain exposure to the different areas of public health.
