As a researcher at the Centro de Estudios Avanzados en Fruticultura (CEAF), I'm working on the project "Towards a sustainable fruit production: deciphering the effect of rootstock x scion interaction on the adaptability of stone fruit trees (Prunus spp.) to climate change." I have over ten years of experience in plant molecular biology, phytohormones metabolism, biotechnology and laboratory skills, which I gained from my doctoral studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and my bachelor's studies at Universidad de Chile. I also have teaching experience, as I served as a lecturer at the Universidad de Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. My core competencies include conducting experiments, analyzing data, writing publications, and mentoring students. My mission is to advance the scientific knowledge and understanding of plant biology and biotechnology and contribute to the field's development and innovation. My values and goals include collaboration, excellence, and social impact. Furthermore, I am very interested in and involved in activism about the gender gap in academia.
