NEB-FEUP/ICBAS is integrated into ANEEB (Associção Nacional de Estudantes de Engenharia Biomédica/National Biomedical Engineering Student Association).As a non-profit organization entirely run by students, NEB-FEUP/ICBAS serves the Bioengineering student community by providing academic support, organizing presentations, workshops and social events, and connecting the students to the outside academic and professional universes. NEB-FEUP/ICBAS also organizes the Symposium on Bioengineering, a three-day annual event, with national and international speakers giving presentations and participating in debate panels.
