Worked as a research officer and clinical coordinator at one of the first-ever HIV cohorts in rural Tanzania with over 4500 active participants in care and 12,000 to ever been enrolled.1. Provided community health education on HIV prevention through local radios, outreach, and events where HIV screening was done too. 2. Facilitated group discussions and counselling for people living with HIV both adults and adolescents on treatment adherence, and prevention of new HIV infections.3. Participated in Continuous Medical Education (CME) which included clinical case presentations, national HIV guidelines presentations, Journal club presentations, and manuscript writing.4. As a clinical coordinator, I oversaw the day-to-day activities at the clinic and participated in bi-annual Quality Improvement meetings to address pressing challenges within the clinic.• Increasing coverage of Isoniazid Preventive therapy (IPT) as a prophylaxis to prevent Tuberculosis (TB) infections. IPT cards were provided to track all clients and our performance was from 50% to 75%.• Achieving viral load suppression among HIV clients through Enhanced adherence counselling (EAC). Successfully raising viral load suppression rate from 50% to 70%. This achievement represents a significant step towards meeting the national 95%-95%-95%, ensuring 95% of those living with HIV are virally suppressed.• Community index testing which elicited newly diagnosed HIV members within the community contributes to the national goal of ensuring 95% of people know their HIV status.

1. Worked as a clinical trial clinician, supervising a team of clinicians, nurses, and laboratory technicians, and successfully recruited study participants within a given timeframe.
