I lead the developer documentation team for Google Workspace.

Began as Senior Technical Writer for Amazon CloudWatch and Auto Scaling services. Promoted to Documentation Manager after six months, leading a team of writers for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and several related Amazon Web Services products. Promoted to Software Development Manager a year later, leading the developer documentation build and website development team.

Wrote ActionScript 3.0 core language developer documentation. Wrote several chapters of the Programming ActionScript 3.0 developer guide, including chapters introducing the core language and the object-oriented programming paradigm. Developed code examples for the developer guide and the API documentation. Continued participation in the ECMAScript standard committee. Wrote Perl and Java scripts to automate processes in the Learning Resources department.

Principal writer for ActionScript 2.0 developer documentation. Wrote descriptive prose and code examples for hundreds of ActionScript classes, properties, and methods. Selected to participate in the ECMAScript standard committee as the sole technical writer among several programming language experts from Adobe, Microsoft, Mozilla, Yahoo! and Opera. The ECMAScript committee oversees the formal standard behind languages such as JavaScript, Microsoft JScript, and ActionScript.

Began as Software Engineer on Flash authoring tool, promoted to Senior Software Engineer in 2002, to Engineering Lead in 2003, and to Engineering Manager in 2004. As International Engineering Manager for Flash Authoring Tool was responsible for localization and globalization engineering, build and installer engineering.

Conducted legal research on access to health care for the poor. Wrote issue briefs and in-depth legal manuals on health care law. Designed and developed the organization website using Macromedia Dreamweaver and CGI/Perl programming.

Provided technology assistance and coordination for California legal aid organizations that provide civil legal services to people living in poverty. Managed a national telecommunications network linking legal aid organizations across the country. Developed and delivered training programs, designed databases, and provided hardware and software support for a small office network.

Started the graduate exams department of the Irvine, California office, which offered test preparation services for the L.S.A.T., the G.R.E., and the G.M.A.T exams. Hired and trained teachers, created marketing campaigns, and managed the day-to-day operations of the program.
