Francisco Acuña leads InTrust Global Investments. A businessman, investor, and social entrepreneur, his experience includes a wide range of strategic projects in Latin America, from mobilizing finance through private and public sources to advising companies and governments on investments and strategic alliances with rural and indigenous communities.Mr. Acuña is the Founder of INDI Fund, the first financial vehicle that promotes the investments in renewable energy and agribusiness projects in Mexico and emerging markets, through real equity and educational partnerships with indigenous and rural communities. The initiative received the award as best financial initiative for Latin America, by the Inter-American Development Bank. During his time at\s Managing Director at Manatt, he advised various of the largest U.S. companies on their expansion strategies. He has assisted U.S. and foreign companies to realize new projects in Latin America, by securing financing and helping expand their operations, in energy, infrastructure and related sectors.Francisco served his country as coordinator for Presidential accords in Mexico and Secretary General of its National Intelligence Agency, where he focused in inclusive economic development strategies to reduce violence.
