I am a biologist specialized in bioinformatics and data analysis, with over 4 years of industry experience. During my time at BioNTech, as part of my Master's thesis, I analyzed MHC-epitope prediction data to support cancer drug discovery projects. Following that, I spent two years at the German Cancer Research Center, where I contributed to the development of tools for storing and sharing immune receptor single-cell sequencing data.In 2022, I led a project at the University of Leuphana, creating a platform using Jupyter Notebooks to teach programming and data literacy to first-semester students. Currently, I am part of the Biocyclic Vegan Network as a participant in a one-year Federal Ecological Voluntary Service (ÖBFD), assisting in the "Vegan Organic Farming II" project of the Federal Environment Agency. Additionally, I provide software development, database management, and research support for the project.Beyond my professional work, I am involved in projects promoting social justice, advocating for the abolition of the animal industry, and engaging in harm reduction and substance use disorder prevention efforts. As a volunteer, I collaborate with harm reduction organizations to educate and promote safer practices. Yoga and Vipassana meditation are integral parts of my life, and I actively support animal sanctuaries.
