This year I am serving as the President of the StFX Students’ Union and the Treasurer of the Canadian Alliance of Students Association. Research Focus: In a landscape where Canadian universities are experiencing shifts in funding patterns, with provincial funding covering a decreasing proportion of university revenues and tuition-related payments becoming more significant, it's crucial for institutions to accurately forecast enrollment to make informed decisions and ensure sustainable budget planning.My research project "Forecasting University Enrollment for Accurate Budget Planning” explores factors covered by previous literature such as tuition, financial aid, family income, distance, and market conditions but also other factors that have been understudied, such as competitors' prices (tuition fees) and institutional prestige.
