A sales based career development program, I had the privilege to participate in professional development, weekly presentation competitions, and strategic support to the business model of the company. I was a part of a prestigious group of 18 young professionals (enrolled in a university and post grad) with aspirations to pursue a career in financial services sales, most with prior experience and education in sales. We fostered an environment degree of competition adopting the mantra "iron sharpens iron" and pushing each other to demand the best from ourselves. During my time as a participant in the FSCDP program I...-Won the annual "Boiler Room" sales competition with my teammates against my peers in a high stakes, high preparation environment requiring in depth research about long term investment strategies, the American economy, and Jackson's competitive advantages to its clients.-Won two of the monthly competitions that are based out of a composite score that takes into account graded client inquiry calls, weekly competitive presentations, and various other performance indicators against my group of peers.-Won annual "Shark Tank" competition with help of teammates against my peers in the program final competition. I worked for three semesters (two different individual school years) as a Resident Assistant at Michigan State in the West Circle neighborhood serving a diverse and wide range of students.
