At fives, I have projects from different clients, I participate since RFQ, I start projects from receiving the Purchase Order and work on it until we receive the total payment, through budgets, designs, approvals, purchase, installation, commissioning, and validation.I am responsible for overall project, I work hand by hand with each of the support departments (Design, controls, manufacturing, purchasing, etc.) to ensure each of the projects is completed within budget, with the highest quality and within of the agreed time.

At Sargent I had the role of Program Manager, where I worked with a multidisciplinary team to determine the project schedule (Gantt) as possible delays and initiate alternative action plans. I was responsible for tracking and managing all project changes, developing presentations for different projects, advising management on their status, and managing and reporting all costs according to budget. As Continuous Improvement Manager, I led the department and training activities, coordinated cost saving activities (such as VSM and Kaizen events). I supported the Lean Six Sigma green belts with their projects and served as a Lean and Six Sigma Coach.

With this new challenge, I was responsible for the operations in Saltillo, Querétaro and Silao, adding the sales area in the Northeast and Bajío regions.

As Operations Manager in Quimmco (Manufacturing and Sharpening cutting tools), I:Supervise all aspects of operation Process including production, maintenance, process engineering, quality, and Materials.Leading by example, promote and ensure the Health & Safety of all associates.Maintain contact with suppliers, customers, and staff to ensure all needs are metBe responsible for meeting KPI targets for productivity.Support Production and Quality for ERP(Oracle) issues and improvements Coordinate production planning according to the requirements of sales area.Develop and implement production processes.Monitor the timely delivery of production orders and Supervise the proper planning of the local and foreign shipments.Control the activities of preventive (PM and AM) and corrective maintenance.Monitor purchases of raw materials.

After Benchmark acquired CTS EMS Division, I kept same responsibilities as a Program Manager. Main activities are CFT (Customer Focused Team) Management and primary contact with customers (Industrial, communication and Automotive sectors).I also do the demand analysis, generate SOs and coordinate activities to deliver quality products on time. For this, I focused on Financial analysis of projects (review of P&L) and deliverables (Scorecard). With my team, identify customer needs and generate plans to achieve them.I coordinate shipments and keep a close tracking of them until they are received by customers.

As Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (NPI), I worked with cross-functional teams that are focused on the delivery of the products from prototype to production release for customers. I developed, defined, and executed project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. I liaised with other sites to help identify Best of Practice process opportunities, Maintained quality vision on all new project introductions, Interfaced with all levels of the customer’s organization and coordinated multiple projects from NPI concept or transfer to production, Facilitated manufacturing product build reviews, give prompt feedback to customer. I set up and managed team project plans with targets, execution and success completion dates.

As Manufacturing Engineer, I started Electronics Manufacturing Operations in Mexico, I developed, defined, and executed project plans and prepare documentation related to the processes and products to transfer operations from New Hampshire and California facilities, and from Customers as well.I participated creating general documentation to complete the Quality System for Mexico Plant.As we received SMT and Wave solder machines from other facilities, I coordinated installation and start up, and received training in SMT programs creation (Programming) to train others in the facility.I received IPC Trainer certification to train operators and quality Inspectors.I worked 3 months in NH facility to help partners with NPI for 2 customers. I had contact with other sites to identify Best of Practices.
