I am a proven, passionate, and equity-driven leader who takes great pride in creating sustainable systems and fostering symbiotic, innovative partnerships. As a non-profit director, I play a role in building and managing external relationships that sustain and elevate impactful collaboration with community partners at all levels of positionality. I have a deep passion for addressing issues or systems at their core and don't shy away from ways to improve myself or systems that need to be improved. This emphasis on systems-level work is what drove me to build a holistic view of the educational landscape of the Northeast, first as a classroom teacher and currently, as a community partner that aims to support young people in having an active voice and presence in their learning. Within my professional work, I strive to do work that focuses on impact and seek ways to strengthen internal systems and teams to support goals and mission alignment. Through my non-profit organizational leadership experiences, I have cultivated extensive experience in strategic leadership, fundraising, team-building, and partnership and business development with an eye for sustainable growth. Simultaneously as a program director and former educator, I've built skills in developing and executing on long-term strategic visioning and planning, data-driven goal-setting, extensive cross-team collaboration, and complex program management. I never lose sight of how systems can be improved to either be more supportive of the work or to streamline ways of working. When I'm not working in community, I am an avid cinephile, sci-fi enthusiast, and short story writer who has an uncanny ability to see the writing on the wall for how stories and characters play out. I'm also a "Dungeons & Dragons" Game Master for my closest friends, where I craft whimsical long-form stories about saving the world and simultaneously corral a group of rag-tag adventurers through a world of shared story telling.
