The Applications Engineer (AE) acts as a support function for both the customer and internal Kongsberg teams, ensuring that the new solutions meet design requirements and at the same time allow for ease of manufacture. The Applications Engineer helps develop products to suit customer demands in a manner that results in profitable sales growth and on time delivery. Also is responsible for the areas of design and manufacturing collaboration, performance validation and project management.

Lead a group of Product Engineers on the product development and release of components for the High Power systems on Hybrid, Plug-In Electric and Electric Cars, Making sure these are robust and reliable to fulfil customer requirements and standards.
