I'm building products to enable a magical work experience for independent agents. A few past experiences got me here:1) As an immigrant who struggled twice to navigate the US insurance marketplace for my family, I felt the buyer's pains. While I initially thought insurance should be as simple as buying from Amazon, being saved by an agent and passing my CA P&C exam made me realize how critical agents are.2) I saw first-hand how hard it is to bootstrap an agency - grew one to >$5m sales in <3 years before hitting people bottlenecks (hiring, training, managing, retaining reliable folks).3) As a former Theoretical Physicist (Astrophysics) I learned to love simplicity and to hate repetitive clunky tasks, such as what I had to do in my 1st business job (strategy consulting). AI is the tech inflection I've been desperate for.
