• Own assigned GM programs supplier related issues plus align and support Continental Plan manufacturing process issues (China Tianjin, Mexico Cuautla and Philippines Calamba) in order to respond in a timely manner to all customer resolutions• Lead, tracked and worked with the design engineers to provide updates on specific manufacturing issues (metal stampings, electrical components/solenoids, injection moldings, plastics) that affects GM Program -TEHCM quality and performance at customer site• Worked together with the central SQM organization to create supplier action item list that supports proper 8D closure to our GM customer Track and review such items with the supplier (on a regular basis), until issue(s) are understood and properly closed ( clean breakpoint) • Hosted regular meetings (minimum once a week) with challenge suppliers to review progress on open items. • Responsible for the standardization of quality systems, implementation of lean manufacturing and the deploy support of Toyota Production System (TPS - Jidoka/JIT) throughout Dana’s structural (truck chassis/frame) division. Directly report to the Global Director of Quality • Recovered $8 million in Toyota’s frame/chassis sales to Dana Stockton CA Assembly Plant. Managed and closed 54 customer’s quality concerns in a 3-Month’s period by implementing Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen activities), and quality systems• Senior quality Advisor to Longview, TX plant on GM’s assembly components and work alongside the continuous improvement team and significantly reduced the scrap rate ($90 thousand per month saving) by improving stampings, welding and assembly operations• Advised and oversaw the Valencia, Venezuela Plant quality improvements, $200 thousand quarterly in operation’s cost savings as a result of executing lean manufacturing/TPS concepts which increase safety, improve ergonomics, down time and quality awareness

• Liaison and quality leader between D&D and our customer Takata of Mexico (e.g., Guadalajara Jalisco and Monclova Chihuahua sites)• Managed and accountable for creating project’s PPAP’s for all stamping and welding components as well as responsible for all customers SCARS affairs and corrective actions/resolutions using the 5P/8D principles to prevent recurrences• Oversee the manufacturing processes of every stamping operation to warranty quality assurance throughout our products and responsible for creating Control Plans and PFMEA

• Managed electrical supplier relationship (e.g., harness, solenoids, connectors and electronics) for control of next generation diesel engine and future manufacturability of those components• Accountable for the robust design, development, manufacturability and cost of next generation diesel engines and after-treatment emissions technologies for both Ford Motor Company future F-Series pickup trucks and International’s trucks & busses• Received recognition for the design and ingenuity of a more cost effective bracket connector for better routing of wires harness inside a diesel engine valve cover. (Patent awarded) • Developed key element in the design of an electromagnetic solenoid (patent pending) for future use of camless diesel engines and recommended mechanical and electrical changes to improve robustness and manufacturability of such solenoids
