The CIO plans, develops, directs, monitors and maintains the overall operational and fiscal resources oftechnology systems in accordance with the ESDs Strategic and Local Service Plans. The CIO providesguidance and leadership to administrators and supervisors in planning and implementing the services and programs to meet various district and agency needs. The CIO contributes to the development of long-range goals and operating plans for the program by participating with other cabinet staff in the formulation of goals and priorities included in the agency strategic plan. The CIO oversees the overall management of technology and data functions to assure the well-being of the agency and to efficiently and effectively provide technical services necessary to support the agency’s mission and goals.
