From july to november of 2011 has worked in the Coordination of Sustainability and Management, coordinating a small team, in issues related to price negotiations, patent landscaping, economic impact of introduction of new technologies as well as monitoring new law bills and legal framework related to intellectual property that could impact access to medicines. From november 2011 until April 2013 I have worked at the advisory of international cooperation, managing and negotiating, with other stakeholdes, bilateral cooperation projects in the field of HIV. As well as perfoming capacity buildings and conducting technical briefings in the area of intellectual property and access to medicines.

Performed patent searches and patentability analysis of technologies developed at the University of Brasília. As well as handles negotiations to transfer patented technologies to the private sector.

SDE is the chief investigative body in matters related to anticompetitive practices and it also issues non-binding opinions in merger cases.Provided analysis and drafted of legal opinions in administrative process regarding anticompetitive conducts like abuse of dominant position, exclusivity clauses, cartel and sham litigation related to intellectual property in the pharmaceutical area.

I've worked in the international department of "Antonini Invenções Ltda" responsible for filing and following patent applications (nationally or internationally, especially through PCT); conducting patent searches; drafting technical analyses of existing technologies in Brazil and abroad; drafting petitions related to trademarks and patents, especially pre-grant oppositions, to be filed at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI-Brazil).
