Acting as a project engineer / superintendent in multiple projects across Madeira Island allowed me to start my professional career on a very demanding environment, experiencing different scopes: marine and dredging works, geotechnical investigation and execution of earth retaining structures, execution of a sanitary landfill and multiple road pavement works. With a strong operational mindset, my main responsibilities involved planning and coordination of work teams and subcontractors, ensuring all activities on the construction site were carried out according to the established plans, adhering, at the same time, with quality, safety, health, and environmental standards.
