- Work with other teams and partners to design and deploy resilient, fault-tolerant systems, to the cloud (AWS), based on AWS Well-Architected Framework- Migrate complex systems from on-prem to the cloud (AWS)- Guide team to adopting Agile project management tools until a project manager was assigned to our team. Which allowed our team to better keep track of progress, capacity as well as set expectations for other teams that relied on us- Perform aggressive cost optimizations on cloud farms to save our company, and our partners, cut cost without compromising performance, amid the COVID 19 economic impact - Containerize the entire stack for one of our partners and create proof of concepts using docker, docker-compose, and docker swarm. This was a proof of concept which included the creation of pipelines to build, tag, push and deploy images to on-prem and to infrastructure in the cloud

Overview:As the CTO, I observe and execute all technical operations. From writing and maintaining code, to managing cloud services, to DevOps, and integration with external services. As well as manage a team of 3, which is composed of another engineer, a designer, and myself.Details:- Built most of our platform which is used by students and employers- Implemented development workflows from source to deployment using Jira, GitHub and Jenkins. These workflows keep evolving and adapting depending on our needs.- Months after having started our project, had to move our application from AWS to Azure, to facilitate this and to make the task easier in the future, containerized using Docker and integrated that to our flow- Seamlessly separated our backend and frontend code base to deploy and track individual releases- On-boarded new engineering team members, and help them get acquainted with our code bases

- Contributed to building prototypes and PoC's that used architectures and tools new to the company as a whole and would serve as a point of reference for new projects- Supported our legacy iOS application which many of our users currently use- Contributed to gracefully retiring a product that was reaching its EOL by creating tools that allowed users to easily retrieve their data, as well as to providing marketing team with the necessary information about the current - Supported one our legacy, server side, C#/.Net applications

- Contribute in a complete re-design of our Android product with guidance from our UX/UI team which resulted in better ratings and user feedback - Created and contributed to feature prototypes for our Android product, and presented them to senior management. Such features were later fully implemented and published in the Play Store- Integrated marketing and analytics tools that gave our team better visibility of how users were using our app, which allowed us to make more informed decisions when deciding what changes to make

- Contributed to the re-branding of a recently purchased Android product (at the time) with +5m daily active users- Read user feedback to find areas of opportunities and potential bugs, which were converted into user stories and bug tickets- Participated in agile grooming sessions, triage, retrospectives, and sprint planning, of our two-week sprints and took initiative on un-assigned tasks in the current sprints- Fixed numerous bugs and helped build numerous features that helped keep a healthy app rating and daily active user base
