As EdTech Program Manager, I support districts and schools to implement instructional technology tools, strategies in a meaningful, student-centered way. As part of the Core Learning team, we work with teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators to implement and Common Core and NGSS. We design and deliver high quality professional development sessions with a strong focus on outcomes and equity, incorporating technology where it makes sense as a value add. I manage the Meaning Maker Studio, ACOE's makerspace and teacher innovation center and it's lending library of tech tools, robots and engineering materials. We host study trips where our region's students and their teachers engage in engineering, computing and design activities.I also support our region's computer science teachers and programs through partnerships with organizations like Code.org. We lead workshops and promote CS courses and pathways in order for our students to have access to quality computing courses at every school. Other activities include writing curriculum for an Advanced Manufacturing course, running pilot programs and trainings in 3D printing, laser cutting, robotics, Internet of Things, Virtual Reality and Entrepreneurship.
