Hello! My name is Francisco, I have been working since I was 16. I started by cleaning toilets for my family's cleaning business and worked my way up to Quality Assurance Inspector and Inventory Management. From there I followed my passion for technology by graduating Cum Laude for my Bachelors in Computer Information Systems. I spent my time as a student working for the school's IT department and was even offered a position after my graduation. Some time after graduating my mother decided to pursue her dream in fashion design and open a jewelry store and I was asked if I would join her. Not one to shy away from a challenge I changed my career and became skilled Jeweler and a certified Diamond Grading Specialist from the Gemological Institute of America. As Manager for Achiq Designs I spent 7 years running the store, repairing jewelry, selling engagement rings, and handling the product photography. In 2019 a close friend of mine and I started our own business, A Half Life Start Inc.. Which was geared towards digital media and video game streaming at first. Covid hit and we were forced to pivot our direction as a company, that was when we started an event called Weeb Night similar to a Comic Con Rave where people passionate about all things nerdy and pop culture could come and enjoy live music with like minded individuals, our last event in November of 2023 had 490 attendants. As CFO I involve myself in every aspect of the company, though my main responsibilities are budgeting, bookkeeping, and event coordination. From showing up early and wiring the equipment to packing up and crunching the numbers I'm the first and last one to leave at every event. This company is something I take great pride in as we have created a very large community of anime and pop culture enthusiasts from all different walks of life. In 2022 the opportunity arose for me and my family to not only move the Jewelry business to a better location, but to open a cafe next to it. For a year I acted as General Manager for Le Jardin Cafe, handling all the bookkeeping, billing, and becoming Serv Safe Certified. Now in 2024 I find myself moving to South Florida in hopes of starting a new chapter and finding something where I can utilize my wide range of skills to it's most. I am adaptable, passionate, resourceful, and perform my best during crunch time.
