Depending on Industrial Director for gypsum plants, defining the plant´s strategy as well as its implantation, development and follow-up across the specific plans of management defined for that purpose. Ensure fulfillment of all required EHS and Quality training for subordinates. Assure compliance with all company policies and best practices.Manage production resources to meet operational objectives. Develop, institute and carry through an ever-improving EHS Program to achieve the fixed goal.Coordinate production with purchasing, logistics, and maintenance departments Ensure fulfillment of all required EHS and Quality training for subordinates. Assure compliance with all company policies and best practices.Coordinate activities with Corporate functions (EHS, Maintenance, Customer Service, HR, Supply Chain, World Class Manufacturing and Mining Resources.)

-Depending on Industrial Director, defining the region´s strategy (Southwest area), as well as its implantation, development and follow-up across the specific plans of management defined for that purpose. -Definition, follow-up and control of the Management Plans (Industrial, Financial etc.). Definition, implantation and follow-up of those actions and action plans necessary for the fulfilment of the goals approved, as well as of those corrective actions that could be precise.-To foster the definition and practical spread of the Group Policies that may contribute to the competitiveness and managerial development of the area, and especially those that put in high value the development of the Industrial Continuous Improvement, People Development, Health and Safety, Environment respectfulness, Organizational Culture.

Responsabilities:-Be responsible for the plant operations including EHS, Production, Quality, Planning process engineering, Equipment facilities Management and Supply Chain Management.-Optimize the utilization of the plant capacities and capital/fixed cost investment.-Set up challenging targets for the team and monitor closely to ensure the achievement of the set KPI´s.-Manage change processes in the plant, by mean improvement teams.Proven Results in key indicators of the plant: operational costs, productivity, set-up time, material loss, stock level, customer complaints, failure rate, OTIF, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, as well as other intangible such as motivation, and alignment of the staff in the company's strategy.

Working closely with the Plant Manager to set up the overall company strategies, plan and budget. Implement WCM (World Class Manufacturing) in both factories. Organize, implement and maintain production process flow. Provides a hands-on process improvement using a combination of Lean Manufacturing with a focus towards optimizing labor resources and systems, flow creation, 5S and waste reduction. Improve continually existing operation, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings

Plans, directs and coordinates construction projects to ensure client goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.Responsible for the full performance of every phase of a major project or a group of smaller projects.The responsibilities include planning, directing, supervising and controlling all technical, fiscal and administrative functions of contractual activities.
