As a Presales Consultant, the objective is to assist the Sales Force to materialize business opportunities from different points of view. On the one hand, to accompany and design the commercial strategy that is applied in a certain opportunity. On the other hand, to scope opportunities into projects, in terms of time, team and cost, by writing effective T&M, FP and SA proposals. The Presales Department interacts with the Sales, Operations, Finance, Controlling and HR Departments. Among the tasks carried out, I would highlight: commercial, functional and technical meetings, proposals defense, team structure management, effort estimations, team coordination, response to government opportunities and discounts management.

Scottish Television is one of the most important media groups in Scotland. The implementation of a Java portal, based on OpenCMS, fostered the provision of real time information, climate, entertainment, among others. As a Java developer, the objective is to build, from the technical point of view, the client’s vision. Technologies applied: Apache, Tomcat, OpenCMS, Struts, Sprint, Hibernate, mySQL.

As a Functional Analyst, the objectives are: to identify the client’s needs, to write documentation acting as liasion between the client and the development team, and to play a supporting role towards the team, by having a complete idea of the project and the client’s expectations.

As a member of the Java development team, I participated in the implementation of several applications for clients such as BankBoston, LaLey and LeaderPrice, among others. These applications were SAP compliant, due to the inclusion of a WebAS, and were built either as WebDypnpro or plain Java, interacting with SAP tables. The SAP Academy gave courses on Java, J2EE, SAP, WebDynpro and ABAP. By the end of 2006, I delivered courses on Java and J2EE for external clients, following the SAP Academy standards.
