The LACC provides families support services, short and long term case management, substance abuse prevention, advocacy for victims of crime, and more. Also, We offer a broad spectrum of services for youth and their families including early development care, before and after school programs, summer camp, English as a second language classes, and more. Our Mission:To empower the Latino Community through education, advocacy, partnerships and exceptional services.

Reporting to the Regional Senior Executive Director, oversee the operation of a $4.0M budget, 52,000 square foot facility including Fitness, Early Child Care Center, multipurpose rooms, Gymnastics floor, and three dance studios, Crossfit space and sports venues. Provide leadership to 10 professional staff and over 100 part-time staff. Other responsibilities include Board development, fiscal management, fundraising, membership and program administration, community relations, and staff professional development.• Directly responsible for managing $4.5M budget, 3500 household units at the Oscar Lasko YMCA.• Achieved and exceeded the Annual Support Campaign goal nearly doubling sponsorship gifts in just one year and exceeding the sustainability goal from $135K to $210K• Increased volunteer participation through increased involvement at the Y with 7 committees established and running – executive committee, facilities, program and membership, mission advancement, Diversity Inclusion and Global engagement and Believe and Achieve. • Partnered with the Believe and Achieve Foundation to offer after school program and Power Scholars Academy – summer program preventing summer learning loss for at risk youth, soliciting sponsors and maintaining grant funding of $60K.• Increased program quality in almost all areas with the most growth in sports and Gymnastics. • Exceeded budget goals which required a 2% increase in surplus revenue from the prior year.• Cultivated stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of government agencies, including health and safety.• Represented the branch in a professional manner at community meetings and participate in the local chamber and other civic organizations.

Reporting to the CEO, oversee the operation of a $ 6M budget, 2 resident camps, and 1 outdoor center. three locations of 90,000 square foot each facility, including aquatics, Fitness, Early Child Care Center, multipurpose rooms, eight dance studios, functional training space, and sports venues. Provide leadership to 30 professional staff and over 300 part-time staff. Other responsibilities include Board development, fiscal management, fundraising, membership and program strategies, administration, community relations, and staff professional development.• Directly responsible for managing $6M budget, 20,000 household units within the three locations.• Increased volunteer participation through increased involvement at the Y with 3 committees established and running – executive committee, mission advancement, Diversity Inclusion and Global engagement.• Partnered with the local City Halls to offer after school program and summer camp program preventing youth to get involved with social problems such alcoholism and drug addiction, soliciting sponsors.• Implemented the opening process of the newly branch located in the south part of Lima.• Increased program quality in almost all areas with the most growth in sports and youth programs.• Implement KPI’s for member satisfaction to assure their engagement with the Y.• Exceeded budget goals which required a 5% increase in surplus revenue from the prior year.• Cultivated stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of government agencies, including health and safety.• Cultivated global relationships with other organizations from South America, Europe, North America and the Caribbean to implement cooperation to serve youth and staff development.• Represented the YMCA of Peru in a professional manner at community meetings and participate in the local chamber and other civic organizations.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, oversee the operation of a $4M budget, 90,000 square foot facility including Fitness, 6 multipurpose rooms, multifunctional training space and 9 dance studios. Provide leadership to 12 professional staff and over 150 part-time staff. Other responsibilities include, fiscal management, fundraising, membership and program administration, community relations and staff professional development.• Directly responsible for managing $4M budget,14000 household units at the Pueblo Libre YMCA.• Exceeded budget goals which required a 5% to 10% increase in surplus revenue from prior year.• Responsible to lead and develop the fundraising annual campaign action plan. • Responsible to lead and develop programs focused on healthy living, experimental learning and youth development taking place in the YMCA Building and the community.• Increased volunteer participation through increased involvement at the Y with 4 committees established and running – facilities, finance, program and membership, youth development, • Implement KPI’s for all departments to have a better understanding of which programs met desired outcomes and which ones required further support to be successful.• Cultivated stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements of government agencies, including health and safety.• Represented the branch in a professional manner at community meetings and participate in local chamber and other civic organizations.• Directed branch marketing and communication efforts to effectively communicate impact to the community.

Oversee the operation of the summer, winter camp and outdoor center which services over 1000 adults and 3500 youth on an annual basis. Manage and conduct summer resident camp and team building programs serving over 3500 youth and families; provide leadership to 10 professional staff and over 20 part time staff: offer financial management of departmental budget totaling $300k.• Prepared and managed annual budgets.• Met minimum monthly revenue, service and customer satisfaction goals.• Managed 2 program sites of 40 acres and 10 acres.• Administered resources assigned to the area and assumed other responsibilities assigned by Chief Operating Officer.• Implemented risk management camp policies.• Provided onsite training.

Participated in the International Camp Counselor Program (ICCP) training program and served in establishing relationships with New England area camps to provide opportunities for youth worldwide to experiencing the US culture while sharing theirs. In charge of evaluating, interviewing, selection and placement of worldwide applicants desiring to participate in ICCP and WWT through the International YMCA of NYC.
