Probation Officer
Current● Conduct Job Readiness presentation for Probation Clients, such as: Resume writing/building, Interviewing skills/tips, ect..● Act as the Liaison between Probation Officers and Employers, while screening Probation Clients referred for employment and communicating with the Employers directly with Probation Client employment referrals● Conduct community outreach to perspective employers, gauging their interest in participating in the JOBS program through phone calls, emails and in person visits● Reporting all JOBS program statistics to the Assignment Judge and Trial Court Administrator in the Monmouth County Superior Court● Responsible for coordinating Job/Resources fairs, hosted by the Monmouth County Probation Department● Coordinating with state agencies such as, Re Entry, Workforce and Development, Social Services and Department of Labor● Enforce Court Orders● Conduct Random Drug Screens● Supervised up to 150 clients at one time when having the Middletown caseload.● Responsible for completing the case plan, risk assessment, drug screen, home visit and having at least 4 contacts within a 30 day time period.● Making appropriate treatment referrals based on individual client needs. ● Coordinating with treatment programs and DCP&P in a timely manner. ● Submitting violation reports and updates to Superior and Municipal court judges, Prosecutors and Defense Attorneys. ● Receiving and setting up out of state cases.● Assisted in training probation officers that came into the Adult Supervision Unit. ● Proficient in using such databases including, ACS, ATS, MACS, PROMIS GAVEL, CCIS, NCIC, CJIS, EMUG, CLEAR, ICOTS, EAGENT 2.0 and CAPS.● Conducting home and field visits on clients that are currently on probation. ● Coordinating with other states on ICOTS in sending transfer requests, progress reports, compact action requests and violation reports. ● Responsible for training Officers and Supervisors in CJIS, EAGENT 2.0 and Security Awareness.
