I have over 10 years of operational experience forecasting for locations around the world. My experience has encompassed both land and marine forecasting. In August 2012, I spent several weeks offshore directly consulting with and forecasting for clients on-site during their offshore platform construction operations.My land forecasting experience has included point and gridded forecasts of hour-by-hour changes in multiple weather elements, in addition to real-time severe weather monitoring and alerting. Marine forecasting experience has included zone, site, and route forecasts, in addition to squall/severe weather monitoring and offering route recommendations for fuel optimization and/or weather considerations.
