I have worked in equity capital markets for 29 years as EMEA/APAC commercial leader, product strategist, global regulatory expert and business developer. I specialise in research evaluation and payments solutions for asset management companies, hedge funds and investment banks supplied to clients in more than 50 countries worldwide.Working mostly in London (New York for 2.5 years) I have built strong and trusted C-level networks around the world with asset management companies, investment banks, global regulators, trade associations and corporates.I am a regular public speaker and writer of thought leadership articles on global regulatory affairs, developing networks and advocating with regulatory authorities including the SEC, FCA, AMF and BaFIN. In doing so I have regularly provided information and consulting to clients on global regulatory news and trends in my area of speciality.I have deep knowledge of how global asset management companies manage their broker relation process, select vendors, develop policies, manage data, pay for research (CSAs, P&L) and comply with varying global regulations.Previously I have developed expertise in the depositary receipts (ADRs and GDRs) business, including roles marketing and selling to corporate issuers and investment banks.I devised and executed a 2 year transformational product plan, with demonstrable new revenue generation.
