When I was a kid, I used to say that I was born in the wrong country. Now, I understand that I was wrong - I am so proud of being both Venezuelan and American - though I continue to explore my passion for learning about new cultures, countries and things every day. I’m a multicultural person who initially came to the United States in 2015 due to a family emergency, and decided to stay. Even though I left behind valuable things like a home and 11 years of professional experience in the Spain-based multinational Telefonica, I am excited to leverage my entrepreneurial skills to launch Click Design Studio (social media strategy and marketing) and start the Masters in Global Management program at the #1 ranked Thunderbird School of Global Management.Working as a Capital Expenditure Procurement Supervisor for the Vice President of Technology at Telefonica gave me the opportunity to develop different skills such as multitasking, problem solving, and leadership. Thanks to Telefonica’s global reach (it operates in 17 countries) I regularly interacted with clients and co-workers in multiple markets, and vendors worldwide. In addition to my professional activities, education has always been a priority in my life. Education is the key to success, being up to date, and the ability to adapt to changes easily.Since in 2015, I paused my professional life in order to focus on family, and I'm now the mother of two gorgeous toddlers. I am now reigniting my professional life. I am the co-founder of a social media strategy and marketing startup, and I was recently admitted to the MGM program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. I will be specializing in finance and am combining this valuable degree with my 6 years of education in advertising and marketing. Even more importantly, I will have the chance to update my soft and hard skills in order to create value and impact for organizations, societies and families.
