I have recently begun my twenty-sixth year in education, six as a classroom teacher and twenty years as a site or district level administrator. While in the classroom, I taught physical sciences including Integrated Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics, "Chemistry in the Community", Geoscience, and Earth Science. As an Administrator, I have worked in all areas of site administration including Athletics, Activities, Alternative Placement and Special Projects, Special Education, and Attendance. I have had supervisory responsibility over classified and certificated personnel.I am currently enjoying my tenure as a Human Resources administrator in a small school district in Monterey County. I am serving as the executive director for human resources. I currently have over 600 employees in the district and we serve about 4,850 students. Specialties: Developing a shared vision, interpretation of Education Code for site- and/or district-based decisions, coordination of leaves under the FMLA/CFRA, Worker's Compensation oversight, and Systems Based Leadership.
