Francis is passionate about data and his career has consistently seen him involved with cutting-edge technology for better data distribution and use. In 1985, while still in high school, Francis founded Les Logiciels Kaiser that processed and distributed market data alongside its charting and portfolio management software. Francis then led product and marketing at Montreal-based Exchange Market Systems, a pioneer in e-brokerage solutions and data, until its acquisition by SunGard in 1999. At SunGard, a Fortune 500, Francis spent twelve years managing its suite of financial data products and services sold worldwide. In 2012 Francis co-founded TickSmith (now Revelate), one of the first firms to provide big data platforms to exploit data at scale and now the leading provider of data exchanges and marketplaces. Francis stays involved in Revelate while dabbling in a new venture with his award-winning Tabarsauce, hot sauce with maple syrup.
