Establish germplasm evaluation trials with ex-Europe germplasm, inbred and hybrid observation under diverse environmental conditions, and leveraging Lines to identify Ex-Europe germplasm that is working across these geographies.2. Ensure F1 and F2 populations are being developed with diverse germplasm for LDB utilization across geographies. Design crosses with genomic tool and bring diverse haplotypes3. Utilize available germplasm data, product information and local observation across Bayer breeding program to identify the best germplasm sources for Europe. The goal is to enable EU breeders to fully leverage the germplasm knowledge across the different heterotic pools.4. Drive our germplasm and native traits introgression, work closely with INTL LDB CB lead for the implementation of our global corn germplasm diversity strategy. Work with the NA-LAN,LAS and EU leadership team to manage diversity5. Coach and mentor Europe Breeders on global germplasm knowledge, diversity, QTL and haplotype introgression.Scope of the Job 1. Work across a team of commercial and line development breeders in Europe to lead the most effective deployment of diverse germplasm in the region, from the other relevant world regions.2. Strong interface with breeders and regional leads of other regions, in relation to germplasm, precommercial pipelines and seed import logistics.
