Developing forecasts and budgets, with continuous monitoring of operational performance.Assuring compliance with legal and company HS&E policies and procedures.Promoting cost reduction initiatives, investment projects and consequent monitoring of the profitability. Responsible for Key Performance Indicators (availability, performances, safety, environment).Planning and developing O&M positions to achieve optimum efficiency: setting objectives, monitoring and evaluating employees performance and training.In charge of external relationships with Public and local and Government Authorities.Employer's representative responsible for health & safety (IT law DLgs 81/08) and environmental matters (IT law DLgs 152/06).

Responsible for the operation activities of the Power Plant, starting from the construction and the start up phase. During construction and start up phase, responsible for the setting up of the Operation team. Procedures implementation according to Company policies, supervision on the EPC contractor on milestones achievements, supervision on contractual tests performed during pre-commissioning and commissioning phase. Technical design review and follow up of the technical issues and verification of construction compliancy to best practices.After EPC’s contractual take over :Managing the operation team in the day by day production targets according to company HSE and policies. Setting performance targets in a continuous “Operation Excellence” path monitoring by operation KPI and targets. Improving plant efficiency and flexibility toward generation market demands evolution.Planning training of the employees, developing and implementing safety practices focused to a continual improvement.Developing of technical specifications for purchasing of supplies and services. Defining operation budget and monitoring for optimization and cost reductions initiatives. Promoting environmentally and legally compliant procedures and targets in a ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certified quality system. Managing relationship with Government Environmental Agencies.

Setting up of the Operation service of the Combined Cycle Power Plant of Roselectra (400 MW Single shaft gas Turbine-Steam Turbine, with district heating station) during its construction.Process design review, supervision on the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in cooperation with Owner Engineer structure. Review of instructions for Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Starting up and all pertinent manuals in accordance to all contractual requirements.Interface with local and national Environmental Agency for the implementation of the authorization prescriptions

Responsible for the Distillation and Thermal Conversion Units of the Oil Refining plant.Optimization of the production yields and KPI monitoring. Budget preparation to meet production and quality targets set by Direction according to company policies and HSE and legal requirementsShort and long term maintenance planning incooperationwithmaintenance dept.Employees technical and safety training scheduling.

Feasibility studies for revamping projects : material and energy balance for process design, equipments technical alignment and selection, designing, installing and commissioning new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades and troubleshooting existing processes. Supervision and review on process design supplied by external consultancy firms, technical design specification follow up during construction phase and check lists elaborations; scheduling monitoring on project milestones. Risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety. Subsequently in charge of design phase supporting, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities preparing test and start up procedures in compliance with contractual specification. Training for operators.

Monitoring the units performances on a daily basis, through relevant process parameters in order to reach the target yields expected from production planning department and to plan maintenance intervals through historical data statistical elaboration. Writing and reviewing operating procedures and follow up of contractual targets of external supply firms.

In charge of process design of petrochemical plants : feasibility studies, mass and energy balances, equipments sizing, data sheets and P&I design.
