Always eager to learn, forge new personal relationships and continuously improve myself. I am very enthusiastic and passionate about my profession, which I currently perform at True North (FinTech) as a Software Engineer, developing in colaboration with a great team innovative solutions to problems affecting the financial industry. I have obtained a Bachelor in Information Systems, after 5 arduous years, but extremely productive and rewarding ones. I have had the invaluable opportunity to learn from excellent proffesors, as well as teaching what I have learnt as a peer tutor at first, and then as a teaching assistant for several subjects. In addition, thanks to this career, I have been able to approach the working world and put into practice the knowledge I acquired, by getting involved in diverse software developments working with local companies. Also, I am very proud to have been a part of different research, extension and volunteering groups, all within the framework of university activities. My research tasks have even been funded by the national EVC-CIN scholarship. On the other hand, I also have had the opportunity to travel on scholarships to different cities around my country in order to conduct courses and other activities, which has given me new knowledge, as well as those experiences and perspectives that can only be obtained by getting to know new places and people. Finally, but also of utmost importance to me, is that all these years of work have given me the honor of being a Fulbright scholar, which led me to travel and have an academic experience at a prestigious university in the United States. I believe that all these years of experiences have not only given me invaluable academic and practical knowledge about the area I chose, but also have opened my mind and helped me to be a better person.
