I am currently working for Future Tell Communications as a site supervisor.I am managing a team of 15 people and 1 site at the moment for Future Tell Communications. The main purpose of the company is to create fibre optic routes for client’s sites and public routes to enable the installation of the fibre optic cabling. The main construction delivery for my team is to dig the trenches on assigned identified routes. Install the specified ducting and sleeves for the fibre optic cables and create and install the necessary manholes where specified. We regularly need to connect to existing manholes and ducts. All ducting is prepared according to standards with end cap connections as specified for that route. We need to repair the client’s sites and public routes where the trenches run to its original or better status. I am assisting the APM to do the DIT’s in order to ensure that the duct lines is open and clean for the contractors to shoot the fibre optic cables in the sleeves. I am installing the bosal conduct pipes to the buildings where the server rooms need to be connected. I am currently installing 2 way ducts, 4 ways, 7 way and 12 way ducts depending on the specification on the site plan drawings as required for that project. It is my responsibility to mark the routes and interpreted the site plan for those routes.It is my responsible to acquire the necessary construction equipment, tools and materials needed for the project to deliver a successful route to the clients. I am working with our vendors and suppliers to make sure we have the necessary supplies to deliver the projects.I regularly train the other foremen and team members on how to do the work in accordance the necessary quality and standards. I am managing my team’s workload, overtime and schedule to deliver the projects on agreed deadlines across the different work sites.

I have done my internship with NETCB, where I was busy with obtaining all the sales certifications required. I have completed the following certificates on training: Novell, Novell mobile life tour (Certified Novell salesperson), NetIQ (Certified NetIQ Salesperson) as well as Certified NetIQ Salesperson: IT Operations Management, VMware VSP 5, VTSP 5.5, SUSE LINUX ENTERPRISE 11 (Certified SUSE Salesperson) as well as certification on SEP BSA (Sesam Basic Administrator) which forms part of NetCB’s Backup program. I have also undertaken regional visits to some of their clients in Durban where we have installed Zenworks agents for them. I have also undertaken a regional visit to some of their clients in Richards’s bay where I have installed Novell client on 250 users as well as configuration of the programme to change the users over to the new servers installed also by myself. I have done the following training after hour to equip myself with project and programme management skills for further development.
